I read and expressly accept register and use general conditions
REGISTER AND USE GENERAL CONDITIONS
These conditions are established to define the communication requirements between the readers and the www.bookandyou.com web
The reader needs to be registered following the register format before accessing the published works.
This subscription will give the readers the right to read all the www.bookandyou.com published works free of charge, and to vote for their preferred book weekly and to participate in all the web forums.
The works are going to be published weekly in installments of 5 to 30 pages each.
Each reader can only vote once per week, during any of the seven week days, and 24 hours per day. Each Monday the new issues will be loaded.
We are not conferring in any case the right to copy the writers ´work. Their work is only available for the exclusive use of the reader and it is not transferable; it is absolutely forbidden to transmit the work to another person, even for free.
In case of fraud detection, we will expel the reader from the web and he will lose all his acquired rights, and he will have to pay the relevant compensation for damages.
If the reader starts to read after the first week installment of the work he will get access to the previous issues.
Each reader is responsible of his opinions and his inputs in the forums. The opinions inside the forums reflect our user�s opinion and never Bookandyou´s opinion.
In the forums the opinions against Spanish law, insulting or libeling will be eliminated.
Bookandyou reserves the right to eliminate any out of scope comment or someone including advertising.
The readers are responsible for their equipments´ technical characteristics, needed access to the works, and to keep their password secret.
The publisher may interrupt the services if there are needs of maintenance, or other circumstances which force to do it, not being responsible for the service´s failures due to chance causes.
Having taken the careful measures in building the software applications to minimize the risks of damage in the reader´s equipments; any damage resulting of the use of the server is the reader´s responsibility
The data transfer rate, the lack of internet availability (global or partial) and the network mistakes or failures never will be the publisher´s responsibility.
In case of discrepancies between the reader and the publisher, the parties agree to surrender

I read and expressly accept these contract stipulations
THE PARTIES OF THIS CONTACT are, the READ AND EDIT, SL company with CIF B 85122562 located in Madrid, calle Torrecilla del Puerto 5 and registered in Madrid page M-438643 , volume 24387, sheet 192, forward the Publisher and the Author properly registered.
STIPULATIONS
FIRST.-Purpose
The publisher publishes by installments, in the portal www.bookandyou.com the work purpose of this registration, and original from the author, to be read and vote by the registered readers.
Publishing the work in paper format if at the end of the vote period (6 months), it is the most voted.
SECOND.-Work characteristics
A) It must be original from the author and unpublished, written in Spanish, English or French, and registered in the Copyright Register Office.
B) It must be written in 5 pages minimum to 720 pages maximum and translated to pdf format.
C) The genre is free. We will edit works on narrative, poetry, philosophy, essay, biography, children´s/youthful, or any other which respects this contract.
D) The content of the work must not be offensive, slanderous, attempt against the honor of third parties, urge to violence, raise terrorism or have xenophobe´s contents.
E) It must be possible to cut the work in installments
THIRD.-Publication characteristics
A) The publisher will publish by installments, during 6 months, all the works fulfilling these contract requisites .
B) The work will be published by installments weekly with a maximum of 24 weeks (6 months), each installment might not be shorter than 5 pages nor longer than 30.
C) Each Monday we will publish the installments of the complete works received at least 7 days before and fulfilling these contract requisites.
D) The previous issues will remain loaded in the portal, pointing out to the reader the number of issues published up to the moment and how many are to be published afterwards.
FORTH.-PORTAL characteristics
A) The portal will be well positioned in the most important Internet search engines, with specific advertising campaigns.
B) The readers have to be registered , giving them right to vote for their preferred issue every week (only a vote per week and reader).
C) We will establish the technical measures to avoid the writers voting for themselves, multiple votes for the same reader, and the copies of the works.
D) The results of the vote will be public, and each author will be able to follow their works´ votes daily
E) At the end of the publication period (24 weeks), the publisher will publish in the portal the final results, including each work result.
F) The top rated work during this publication period will be published and marketed by the publisher in book format. We will sign a publishing contract with the author.
G) The authors may send the publisher as many works as they want, all of them will be published, if they want to participate in the contest to be published in paper they have to pay the corresponding fees. The writers may use a pseudonym.
H) The writers are allowed to participate in the daily auction to obtain a position in the showcase.
FIFTH.-Author Rights and Obligations
A) The author hands over their work in exclusive to the publisher for a 13 months period. After the 6 months voting period the work will be loaded in the "batches of books" for another 6 months period. The author will have the right to present again his book to the new competition, after paying the corresponding fees.
B) The writers´ handing over their work in exclusive includes the right for the publisher to publish it in the www.bookandyou.com portal, under this contract conditions.
C) If at the end of the voting period, the work purpose of this contract is the most voted by the readers, the author is committed to yield in exclusive to the publisher the above-mentioned work for its publishing and marketing according to the publishing contract conditions that will be subscribed at this time.
D) The author must include together with their work a short summary, and define clearly the number of installments to cut their work (24 maximum) identifying the pages of each one (from 5 minimum to 30 maximum). We will not publish any work not previously cut in installments and converted into pdf format.
E) The author releases the publisher from any responsibility in case of lawsuit for plagiarism, or damage of the honor right, or lawsuit for slanderous allegations and generally from any kind of civilian or penal act rose against the author.
F) In case of breaching any contract obligation or any other one which will legally be breached, the author will compensate the publisher for the damages with the amount defined in that time
SIXTH.-Publisher Rights and Obligations
A) The publisher reserves the right not to publish the work or to cancel the publication at any time if he considers that the work has not a minimum required quality or breaks these contract requirements.
B) The publisher is compelled to publish the work under this contract conditions and to publish and market it in a book format if it is the most voted by the readers.
C) Even if the work is not the most voted, the publisher reserves the right to publish and market it, if he thinks that its literary quality deserves it; in this case the authors are compelled to hand over their publishing and market rights exclusively to the publisher under the conditions that will be define in a specific contract at that time, in which the author will get 10% for his author rights.
D) The publisher is compelled to publish on the portal the vote�s final results in less than 48 hours after the closing of the voting period, proclaiming the work which is definitely going to be published in a book format.
SEVENTH.-Competencies and Jurisdiction.
The parties renounce any code of law that may correspond to them, and for any discrepancy they expressly surrender to the Spanish legislation and the Madrid city court competence.
